1 Dead, Several Hurt When Driver Hits Pedestrians At Georgetown Hospital: Report

One person died and several others were injured when a driver struck a group of pedestrians outside Georgetown Hospital Thursday, July 20, NBC Washington reports.

DC Fire and EMS personnel were called to the hospital's parking garage in the 3800 block of Reservoir Road NW at approximately 1 p.m. 

Five people were treated at the hospital's Emergency Room, and the driver was evaluated for undisclosed injuries, officials said.

According to NBC, an off-duty police officer and hospital workers treated the victims before emergency room personnel ran out with a stretcher.
